DEHNguard MP

The DEHNguard MP is a modular Type 2 + 3 surge arrester with practical push-in double terminals. Designed for quick and convenient installation, it enables feed-through wiring without additional clamping pieces, saving valuable space in the sub-distribution board. Visual inspection of the terminals also helps to increase installation reliability.

What sets the DEHNguard MP apart

  • Compact installation

    Feed-through wiring eliminates the need for additional clamping pieces, saving valuable space in the sub-distribution board and reducing installation effort.

  • Convenient push-in technology

    Push-in double terminals allow conductors to be connected easily from the front. Cross-sectional areas from 1.5 mm² to 10 mm² can be connected using the practical push-in technology.

  • Safe and reliable

    Visible clamping enables simple visual inspection of the connections, helping to prevent installation errors. An optional push-in remote signalling contact also allows simple remote monitoring.

The DEHNguard MP strengthens the modular DEHNguard product family with convenient push-in technology. The Type 2 + 3 surge arrester provides integrated protection of terminal equipment and combines compact dimensions with easy installation. Feed-through wiring saves space in the sub-distribution board, while the front-mounted push-in terminals simplify connection. In residential buildings, DEHNguard MP can also be coordinated with the upstream DEHNshield ZP SG combined arrester.

Feed-through wiring can be implemented without additional clamping pieces, helping to save valuable space during retrofits. At the same time, the push-in technology allows conductors to be connected easily from the front. Feed-through wiring can also be implemented in accordance with DIN VDE 0100-534 for an EMC-optimised installation.
